Hey all, I’ve made a new illustration, you can check it out here, or go over to the illustration section. I’m pretty happy with how it turned out.

Also, I’ve purchased a new program called “VectorDesigner” so expect to see plenty of other drawings as I play with this new tool to see how I like it.

Anyone who knows me even remotely knows that I have this constant urge to mess with things, change them, and keep them (friggidy?)fresh.  My website even more so.  Ever since the launch of seanoconnor.info v2.0 I had been looking at it and wanting to change certain aspects, things I cut corners on to save time, and things that I just thought didn’t work at all.  So, I took my free time this weekend and revamped the site a little bit.  I’m much happier with this layout than the previous, and I hope you are too.  ENJOY!

So I saw the movie “The Golden Compass” and couldn’t get over the visuals in the film.  I immediately fell in love with the Victorian era  clockwork machinery look of the equipment used in the film.  Being inspired, I decided to draw a zeppelin, but my normal graphic style wasn’t going to cut it.  I decided to take a stab at digital painting, and this is what I came up with.

It’s not perfect, or finished.  I want to keep refining it and playing with the style but overall I’m happy with the way it’s turning out.
