About
Hi! As the title of the site would suggest, I’m Sean O’Connor. I’m a designer / developer / robot. Okay, maybe I’m not really a robot. Also, my skills as a developer are limited to a few languages the I’m only really “familiar” with, I’m certainly not a programmer. I mostly just dabble. But I am a good designer! I didn’t lie about that part! I also, really really like robots, so sometimes I get confused about my status as a meat bag..er…human. Enough of this, people generally come to these “about” pages for some real info, right…okay, here’s the breakdown.
I’ve worked professionally (both in house, and freelancing) as a web designer / front end coder (XHTML, CSS, Javascript) in various places in the Northeast. Some selections of my work can be found in the design portfolio. I now work in advertising, but still do a lot of web design and development.
I graduated from Stetson University with a bachelors degree in Digital Arts with a Fine Arts minor.
I am an amateur comic book author and illustrator. I am currently working on a comic book project tentatively entitled The Survible, part memoir and part survival manual for 12 years of private catholic school. (The name will most likely change a dozen times between now and when I finish)
I also dabble in audio/video performance using the Max/MSP programming environment.
I really like robots, and hope to someday convert most of my body into machinery. I may have already mentioned the robot thing before, but … you know … in case you want to get me a present?
If you would like to know more about me, or would like to ask me a question, please fill out the following form and I’ll respond as quickly as I can.
