This blog is HAINTED!!!!
I really need to be better about posting on here. I’m supposed to be a professional!
Regardless of my lack of blogularity, I have actually been doing work. My new job is letting me do a lot of cool stuff that I haven’t been doing before, such as flash animation and actionscripting. I’m unsure if I’m actually allowed to post the stuff from there on my site, as a lot of it is both copyrighted and as-of-yet unapproved. I’ll have to check up on that, because if I can post that stuff, HELLOOOOOOO constant stream of material!
Speaking of material, I made a worthwhile drawing today! …(gasp! shock and awe!) You can check it out, here.
I know I promise to post more drawings, but this time I mean it! As always, thanks for reading!

Whirled
So.
I’ve been messing around with a new project from Three Rings called, Whirled.
Essentially, Whirled is an open, community driven, flash world. It’s made up of games, rooms, furniture, and various other things, created, uploaded, and sold by users.
It’s a nifty little project. I was lucky enough to get into alpha testing, but it is now open to the public for beta testing.
Up until now I’ve only been testing it’s capabilities via playing the games, interacting with people, and using other users’ creations. That will all change once my new computer arrives (which should be tomorrow) and I can once again work from my home studio. If you do end up joining, stay tuned to see seanoconnor.info themed creations peppering the “whirled”.
stay tuned.

Knitting Ninja REDUX
So, my friend Heidi inquired this past weekend about an old drawing of mine. One that she had asked for me to do, back in the early days of college. Specifically she asked if I still had it. Well, I poured through my old files and actually found the image. It looks something like this…
Well, looking back on the image, I was very disappointed. In retrospect, it wasn’t a very good drawing. It’s funny how you look back on your old work and think about all the things you’ve learned and how you’ve improved since that point in your career. Well, looking at it gave me the inspiration to have another go at it. This time, I think it turned out a whole lot better.

Keepin’ it Gangster
Messing around with some sketching today and busted out a quick dick tracy / old detective comic style gangster bad guy. I’m pretty happy with it as far as quick sketches go. Check it out here.
